Hey there, really interested in your pub battles series. Price point seems a bit high though.
What do you think of making a ‘budget’ or ‘basic’ pub battles game? A more low-end version with something like a cardboard meckel map, plastic pieces, etc., just to get a feel of the game mechanics.
Also, any plans to digitalize pub battles? I feel like it would work well as an online game.
We already did that. Went to a lot of trouble and expense to make a cheap version of the Brandywine with cardboard counters. Had it listed on our site for a year. Sold ZERO copies. Nobody wants that.
You don’t have to get the canvas map. The paper ones are about the same as other games.
If you are on a tight budget, you can get a set of standard blocks to use in all the games. Then they only cost $35-45 each.
Hey there, I’m thinking of buying something from here for a buddy of mine who I know is into history as their birthday is right round the corner. I really like your pub battles series but I also see some new games in development, those ww2 themed ones seem interesting. When do you estimate they’ll be released? I’d like to know if it’s within a month to decide if I should wait for them to come out and get those instead.
Won’t be that quick. Those are probably next yearish.
Remember that we custom assemble orders as we get them, so it usually takes a week or two to get there. If you let us know ahead of time, we can try to rush things out quicker! =)
